We make solid hardwood joinery doors from Australia’s finest select timbers. Customers can choose from our designs or supply their own. Our team of joiners are expert at customising doors with unique mouldings, metal work, glazing, leadlight and stained glass. Our joinery doors start as raw timber sourced from sawmills in Victoria and Tasmania. We stock premium select grade Tasmanian Oak and Victorian Ash, and can source Spotted Gum, Western Red Cedar, American Oak, Blackbutt and other exotic timbers upon request.
Victorian Ash & Tasmanian Oak
Victorian Ash & Tasmanian Oak come from three species of Eucalyptus; Eucalyptus regnans, Eucalyptus delegatensis and when sourced in Tasmania Eucalyptus obliqua. The timber is also commonly known as mountain ash, stringy bark & messmate.
The timbers complexion can range from pale pink to straw, and the coarse texture & a long straight grain makes its perfect for joinery. As a worked product the timber can be beautifully finished in a range of polishes & stains to suit any application.
Our customers can choose any of our designs and customise them to suit their requirements. For more adventurous projects we can work from our customers designs to produce their perfect door. To see all our designs checkout our catalogue.
